This is a three stone ring set with a high quality lab created alexandrite sapphire pear and two round brilliant DEF color authentic moissanites. This sapphire is really pretty, although, unlike synthetic alexandrite, it doesn't have a purple/green color change, but it does color shift in shades of purple. The stones are set in solid sterling silver.

Stone size:
11x8mm: 3.6 carats
3.5mm round moissanites: 0.32 carats total

Regarding the sapphires I use: I only use lab created sapphires (corundum made in a lab). I never use simulated sapphires, ie, any material that is not corundum.

The sterling setting was made using deox sterling silver, a special sterling that uses alloys which are more tarnish resistant. Please note that more humid climates may cause any sterling to tarnish more quickly.

PLEASE NOTE: This ring will not sit flush with a straight wedding band. A curved band works well with the ring.

Band measures about 3mm near the side stones and tapers down to about 2mm in back.
