This lovely ring is sterling silver and is set with a 10x8mm precision faceted mixed brilliant cut (faceting is the same as natural sapphire faceting style) oval lab blue sapphire center stone, and two 3mm round precision cut cubic zirconia side stones. The sapphire weighs about 3.5 carats and each cz is the diamond equivalent of about .10 carats.
Lab sapphires are identical in every way to natural sapphires, except they were not mined from the earth. This stone has a Moh's hardness of 9, just as earth mined sapphires.
