This is a beautiful ring that is horizontally (east/west) set with a high quality oval cut lab created blue sapphire. The stones are faceted in a mixed brilliant cut to better simulate a natural sapphire. The setting is six prongs and lower profile.
The sterling setting was made using deox sterling silver, a special sterling that uses alloys which are more tarnish resistant. Please note that more humid climates may cause any sterling to tarnish more quickly.

The ring has a band width of 2mm.

7x5mm: 1 carat
8x6mm: 1.5 carats

Metal options:
Sterling silver
Gold available upon request

Regarding the sapphires I use: I only use lab created sapphires (corundum made in a lab). I never use simulated sapphires, ie, any material that is not corundum.
