Please note: This ring is made to order. Production time is about 2-10 business days.
This is a beautiful three stone ring set with a near colorless (G/H color--approximate) high quality hearts and arrows cubic zirconia. This beautiful center stone is surrounded by two pricey 5mm round lab created true chrysoberyl alexandrites. They are NOT lab corundum (sapphire). The stones are set in a sturdy, solid, non-plated, sterling silver ring setting.
Stone sizes:
8mm near colorless cz: 2 carats
6mm near colorless cz: .75 carats
5mm lab alexandrite: 1.40 carats total
Please note: Alexandrites are really difficult to photograph, but these lab stones have a blended green/purple that looks different in different lighting.
True lab chrysoberyl alexandrites are identical in every way to natural alexandrite, except they were not mined from the earth. This stone has a Moh's hardness of 8.5, just as earth mined alexandrites. Alexandrite is one of June's birthstones.
This ring would make a lovely alternative engagement ring.

Perfectly beautiful and wonderfully made. Another great purchase for me from this shop!
As always, Shannon's rings are top quality and why I keep going back to her shop over the others. The main stone in this ring is cut wonderfully - it sparkles like a shining star in the night sky and you can see the arrows pattern from the cut pretty clearly. The GH color range of the stone also is very diamond-like if that is what one may be looking for!
The alexandrite's color-shifting property is really cool and does so in a myriad of ways - in daylight you get a wonderful teal hue, indoor lighting you get a luxurious purple, and in mixed lighting it blends together beautifully. I kept trying to take photos of the teal color but the images kept showing it as a ruby color instead - it's very tricky to photograph. I got a good shot of the purple tone at least. Thank you so much for another home run, Shannon!
